Hello! Here’s a little bit about our story and the Studio…

Giving a sense of well being and fulfilment with Art to community is what Class Creative’s mission is about.

Our Studio

Our site was once the HQ of artist Elizebeth Frink’s Estate where her son (Lin Jammet) lived with his family after moving from Woolland House back in 2005. ‘Lin Jammet’ (Elizebeth Frink’s son) Josie’s step-father used the now Class Creative Art studio space for storage with the intention to one day re-purpose the barn space.

Unfortunately, after Lin’s passing in 2017 the barn buildings remained unused and untouched. When Josie returned from to the UK back in 2022 from working overseas she decided it was best to make use of the unused space and re-purpose the barns into a working art studio and gallery to be enjoyed by the local community.

During Dorset Arts Weeks 2024, Josie and her partner Chris Wallis re-purposed the space and opened it’s doors to the public for the first time featuring seven artists - Josie herself, Chris Wallis, Josie’s Art group from Platinum Skies in Sherborne and Sculptor and print maker Sasha Constable which was a great success.
